Dismantling of woodworking equipment and major projects in 2022

Dismantling woodworking equipment is a complex and responsible process that can cause significant losses and damage if performed incorrectly. Any woodworking equipment – new or used – consists of massive iron parts, blades and electronic systems of varying complexity, which must be disassembled according to a certain procedure. The Sawmill.lv team has accumulated extensive experience in this field, having carried out woodworking equipment dismantling work in both Latvia and the Scandinavian countries over the years. 2022 was no exception for our team, as the company carried out significant dismantling work in Sweden, Finland and Estonia.

Over the year, the Sawmill.lv team has carried out dismantling work on sawmilling, production and industrial woodworking lines. These works included disconnecting electrical equipment and their systems, disassembling and preparing equipment parts and components for relocation, as well as transporting the equipment itself. In each of the projects entrusted to us, we worked with the utmost care and attention to ensure that the dismantled equipment would not be damaged and that it could be reassembled in the same condition as before dismantling.

We look back with satisfaction on what we have accomplished this year and the addition of our professional experience, because each of the projects we are involved in is different. In the continuation of the publication, we offer a photo review of the most significant projects of this year.

A look back at the most significant woodworking equipment dismantling projects

Sawmill.lv has extensive experience and successful cooperation with industry companies not only in Latvia, but also abroad. In Sweden this year we dismantled a sawing line, while one of the largest and most time-consuming dismantling projects this year was in Finland – dismantling a board feeding system. In Estonia, the Sawmill.lv team carried out the dismantling of a HewSaw R200 sawing line, which was also the final project of this year.
